Privacy Policy

This policy explains, in plain words, what personal information Strapit collects on b2b.strapit.co.in, why, who sees it, how long we keep it and what you can do about it. We follow India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the DPDP Rules, 2025. Strapit is the “Data Fiduciary”: we decide why and how your data is used. Purchases on our retail store are covered by the strapit.co.in privacy policy.

Who we are

Strapit is a bag manufacturer based in New Delhi (GSTIN 07DZZPA7399H1ZG). Branch office: AB-100, Amar Puri, Paharganj, New Delhi 110055.

What we collect, and why

  • Quote form: your name, company, mobile number, delivery city, bag type, quantity, branding choice, date needed and any notes. When you press the button, these details are placed into a WhatsApp message on your own device, and they reach us only if you send that message. We use them to reply to your enquiry, prepare a quotation and follow up on it.
  • WhatsApp and phone calls: your name, number and anything you share with us, such as your logo file, used to handle your enquiry and order.
  • Company orders: billing and delivery details, contact person and GST details, used to make, invoice and deliver your order.
  • Website usage data: basic technical data such as pages visited, device and browser type, used to keep the site secure and working. Non-essential cookies (analytics or advertising) are used only if you accept them.

We collect only what is needed for these purposes. We do not sell your personal data.

Your consent

We ask for your consent, in clear words, before you send an enquiry. Where the law allows us to use data without consent, for example keeping tax invoices, we say so. You can withdraw consent at any time by calling or messaging us on WhatsApp. After you withdraw, we stop using your data for that purpose, though we may keep records the law requires. Withdrawal does not affect anything done before it.

Who we share your data with

  • WhatsApp (Meta), which carries messages you choose to send us.
  • Courier and logistics partners, who need delivery details.
  • Hosting and email providers that help us run this website.
  • Government or courts, if the law requires it.

These providers may process data only to serve us and must protect it. Some may store data on servers outside India.

How long we keep it

Enquiry data is kept for up to 12 months after our last contact with you, unless it turns into an order. Order, invoice and tax records are kept for the period required by tax and accounting laws. When data is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous.

How we protect it

We use reasonable security safeguards, such as secure (HTTPS) connections, password-protected admin access and limiting access to staff who need it. If a data breach affects you, we will tell you and the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires.

Children

This website is meant for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data of anyone under 18.

Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you can ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and who we shared it with; ask us to correct, complete or update it; ask us to erase it (unless the law requires us to keep it); withdraw consent; make a complaint; and nominate someone to exercise these rights for you if you die or cannot act yourself. Contact us as shown below and we will respond within 30 days at the most.

Complaints and grievance contact

Please contact the Grievance Contact, Strapit, on +91 85071 38430 (call or WhatsApp) with your name, the number you used with us and what you want us to do. We will acknowledge within 3 working days and try to resolve it within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top.
